The Margarita

The best margarita around is the Cowboyrita at Texas Stadium. It’s an 18 ounce frozen margarita and its make with 4 ounces of tequila (yes, I asked). They use Hornitos Reposado Tequila. It is fantastic. And it better be, it’s 15 bucks! Anyways, you can have regular, strawberry, or a swirl. I recommend the swirl. I don’t know if you remember margaritas at the old stadium, but this is a nice change for us Cowboys Fans!!!

Everything Else

Texas Stadium is unbelievable. With 90,000 fans, it’s amazing just standing in the stadium. The energy there is incredible. And of course, there is the “JerryTron”. That is what they call the world’s largest tv that hangs over the football field. It’s 70 yards long and it is all HD, so you can see every detail. If you don’t have good seats, no worries. You can see the screen from anywhere and you will find yourself watching it more than the game. It’s tough to beat a cold margarita and a good Cowboys game!

The Skinny

OK. So here is what you need to know. Get to the game 10 minutes before the game and get your margarita early. If you wait until first quarter, the lines are insane and the margaritas barely have time to freeze because they are pouring them so fast before kickoff. There are machines everywhere, and they all serve the same thing, so it’s easy to get in and get set up. Have fun and go Cowboys!
